My approach to therapy is client-centered, relational and strengths-based. I work from a Prodependent lens where healing happens in connection – not isolation – and clients impacted by addiction and trauma deserve a space where their pain, love, and resiliency are honored rather than pathologized.
Sessions blend neuroscience-informed techniques with body awareness to help calm the nervous system and process unresolved experiences. Guidance is nonjudgmental, affirming, and grounded in clinical integrity. My goal is to help clients feel seen, supported and empowered to move forward with clarity and courage.
We will begin by co-creating a judgement free and supportive, calm space where you can share your story at your own pace. My priority is helping you feel safe and grounded so we can begin building trust together by setting your nervous system and calming your internal and external environment.

We will begin by co-creating a judgement free and supportive, calm space where you can share your story at your own pace. My priority is helping you feel safe and grounded so we can begin building trust together by setting your nervous system and calming your internal and external environment.
Collaboration is key, and we will talk about what therapy might look like moving forward, answer any questions you have, and ensure our partnership is a good fit.
Whether you are navigating emotional overwhelm, addiction, betrayal, or relational trauma our work begins with honoring your experience and helping you feel seen, heard and supported

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy is widely recognized as a best practice in trauma therapy due to its strong evidence base, rapid effectiveness, and endorsement by major health organizations. It is a strong therapeutic tool to help clients move from survival to healing by helping people process distressing memories by using bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements, to reduce emotional intensity and promote healing. Sharon is trained to provide EMDR via Tele-Health or in person.
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) is a structured, evidence-based approach that helps individuals identify and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviors to improve emotional well-being and cope more effectively with life’s challenges.
Trauma-Informed Therapy provides a safe and supportive environment, recognizing the impact of trauma on an individual’s life and tailoring care to avoid re-traumatization.
Brainspotting is a gentle trauma-focused therapy that uses eye position to access and process deep emotional pain stored in the body, helping clients release unresolved trauma and promote healing.
Internal Family Systems is a therapy that helps you understand the different “parts” of yourself—like the parts that feel anxious, protective, or hurt—and work with them in a compassionate way. The goal is to connect with your calm, wise “self” so you can bring more balance, healing, and peace inside.
Expressive Arts Therapy uses creative activities like drawing, writing, movement, or music to help you explore feelings and experiences that may be hard to put into words. It’s not about artistic skill but about expression and discovery.
DBT & Mindfulness-Based Techniques combined teaches skills for managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and staying present. They combine practical tools—like emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and communication skills—with mindfulness practices that promote calm, clarity, and balance.
Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) is a mind-body approach that helps retrain the brain to interpret pain signals accurately, reducing or eliminating chronic pain caused by neural misfiring rather than physical injury.
Narrative Therapy helps clients reframe their personal stories, empowering them to take control of their lives by focusing on strengths and values.
