With experience in a variety of therapeutic settings, including school-based services, crisis intervention, and family therapy, Kara has developed a deep passion for empowering her clients to navigate life’s difficulties with confidence and resilience.

Her career has been shaped by her experience in providing direct mental health support, which includes conducting intake assessments, individual and family therapy, and crisis interventions. She has worked with diverse clients, tailoring treatment plans to meet individual needs and supporting them in improving relationships and behaviors.

Kara’s professional journey includes working as a Mental Health Professional at Families, Inc. Counseling Services, where she provided school-based therapy and crisis interventions. During her internships, she supported non-custodial parents through Children First, Inc., and worked with foster youth at Child Appointed Service Advocates, gaining valuable experience in case management and court proceedings. She also contributed to promoting client independence through her internship with Georgia Options.
