I work with children, adolescents, and adults from many walks of life, including foster and adoption families, military families, and those navigating high levels of stress at home, school, or work. I am honored to walk alongside clients in their therapy journeys, helping them build meaningful connections, nurture a sense of belonging, and live in ways that honor themselves and those around them. I care deeply about supporting strong family relationships, empowering parents to feel confident in meeting their children’s needs, and encouraging individuals to develop the confidence and balance needed to live fulfilling lives. My approach is supportive and collaborative, focused on helping you clarify what matters most and align your values with your daily life. I strive to create a relaxed, comfortable space where you can move at your own pace toward greater balance, resilience, and fulfillment.
During our first session I will be able to provide an overview of what to expect during therapy sessions. You will be able to share about your past experiences with therapy and what you're hoping to get out of sessions moving forward.
I am able to have sessions:

Some of the modalities that I incorporate include:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT):
This type of therapy helps you notice unhelpful thought patterns that may be affecting your mood or behavior. Together, we’ll practice new ways of thinking and responding so you can feel more in control of your emotions and solve problems with greater ease.
Trauma-Informed Therapy:
If you’ve been through difficult or painful experiences, this approach makes sure therapy feels safe and supportive. It recognizes how trauma can affect your life and takes extra care to avoid anything that might feel overwhelming or retraumatizing.
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT):
This approach is especially helpful for children, teens, and families who have gone through trauma. We gently explore how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors connect, and we practice healthy ways to cope with stress, fear, or painful memories. Sessions include learning useful skills like calming the body, naming emotions, and reshaping unhelpful thoughts. Parents or caregivers are often part of the process so families can heal together and strengthen their relationships.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy:
This approach teaches you to slow down, pay attention to the present moment, and accept your thoughts and feelings without judgment. It can reduce stress, help balance emotions, and bring more clarity and calm into daily life.
Person-Centered Therapy:
In this approach, you’re in the driver’s seat. My role is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel fully seen and understood. Instead of telling you what to do, I’ll support you with compassion and curiosity as you explore what matters most to you. The focus is on helping you grow, build confidence, and live in a way that feels true to yourself.
